I recently purchased a Station G2 and built a node to mount on a mast. It requires more power than the Heltec V3 and RAK modules, so I have it running on AC power. The TX range is impressive, but the RX performance is disappointing—I can barely decode signals just a few blocks away.

Neil, the G2's designer, has been incredibly helpful. Through detailed explanations and testing, we determined that my environment is particularly noisy. The LNA boosts the gain by about 4dB, but it also amplifies the noise. To address this, I’ve ordered a cavity filter from China (unfortunately delayed due to the New Year) and another from Airframes. Hopefully, in a month or so, I’ll see an improvement.
